As Mayor of the City of Greater Sudbury, I would like to welcome you to the Ninth Annual Community Builders Awards of Excellence, as we pay tribute to an amazing group of people who truly personify what it means to be a leader in our community.

Although tonight's winners will be taking home the awards, it is our community that has been given the greatest honour.

It is my sincere hope that the work of tonight's award winners will inspire us all to be better in our personal and professional lives and to work together to build the best future possible for our city.
